Description

A 1988 Chrysler Conquest TSI in Rio red is a high-tech, rear-wheel-drive, turbocharged 2.6-liter, wide-body 1980s Japanese sports coupe with a distinct wedge shape, flared fenders, pop-up headlights, and a functional rear spoiler. Inside, it features a driver-focused cockpit with 1980s-era amenities like automatic climate control, motorized seatbelts, and a multi-function steering wheel controlling the factory sound system with a graphic equalizer. The “TSI” designation signified the wide-body, intercooled, higher-performance version of this captive import, a Chrysler-branded Mitsubishi Starion known for its aggressive styling and turbocharged engine rated at 188 horsepower and 234 lb-ft of torque.
