The 1959 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is a classic C1-generation sports car, notable for its cleaner styling compared to the 1958 model, which was criticized for its excessive chrome. Chevrolet produced 9,670 units of the convertible in 1959, and it featured a potent 283 cubic-inch V8 engine with several performance variants.

1959 Chevy Corvette Convertible
The 1959 model removed the prominent hood louvers and chrome trunk spears of the 1958 version, resulting in a cleaner and more streamlined look. The iconic side sculptured coves could be painted in a contrasting color (Inca Silver or Snowcrest White) for a two-tone appearance. Exhaust pipes exited through the rear bumper guards, a styling cue carried over from previous C1 models. This iconic Vette comes with an automatic powerglide transmission!
