Description

This 1949 Ford Custom 2 door Sedan is the first year of the “Shoe Box Ford” models of 1949-51. This Ford has the original inline flat head 6 cylinder engine with the original 3-speed manual transmission and rear-end and it runs and drives great. This Custom also has the original factory color green paint with the original style gray stripe cloth interior with gray carpet with front and rear rubber floor mats. This Ford also has the original factory AM radio, factory clock, factory “magic air” heater, factory sun visor with polished stainless trim and factory fender skirts. The condition of this car is just mind blowing and the car still has all of the factory glass and is in great condition. The chrome bullet nose grill, chrome front and rear bumpers and the polished stainless body side trim are in great condition also. The gas tank and exhaust look new with the exhaust has a Y pipe added for dual tail pipes with chrome tips out the rear and it sounds great. This ford sits on the original color matched 15 inch steel rims and hub caps with polished trim rings and a matching set of 6.70 X 15 Firestone Deluxe wide white wall tires that still look like new. The car also has a matching wheel and tire for a spare in the trunk.
