The 1962 Chevrolet Corvette gold grille is a rare, optional, or specialized accessory featuring an anodized gold finish on aluminum, differentiating it from the standard black-anodized grilles. Often associated with early production models, high-horsepower V8 options, or special styling show cars, these grilles represent a coveted, "hidden gem" feature. The 1962 Chevrolet Corvette is the final, highly refined first-generation (C1) model, featuring a new, powerful V8 engine. The 327 fuel-injected motor (known as the "Fuelie") was a legendary small-block Chevy V8 produced between 1962 and mid-1965, featuring Rochester mechanical fuel injection. Primarily used in Corvettes (RPO L84/582), it delivered 360–375 horsepower, offering high-RPM performance, 11.25:1 compression, and superior throttle response before being replaced by big-block engines. This car has a new white soft top underneath the beautiful hardtop.  This car carries AC and a ton of documentation about history, restoration and mileage!! At approx 65,000 is when the restoration was completed.
